The Guerrero Foundation Piano Competition is the youngest of all those organised by the Foundation. At present, a total of 29,000.00 € is awarded in the form of prize money, along with concert tours and studio recordings for radio and television.

The Competition is held every three years. The elimination rounds take place at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music (Real Conservatorio Superior de Música) and the final at the Teatro Monumental, in collaboration with the Radiotelevisión Española Symphony Orchestra.
